|My photograph in the latest edition of Rail Engineer.|
It's nice to see one of my photos in print, even more so to be asked to use it rather than having to submit it. Just a shame that here it's being used to illustrate an article on the resignalling of our line. This is from the latest edition of Rail Engineer.
This is the original photo, un-edited. It's from 19th January 2015, it had snowed overnight but by this point it had started to thaw and is now just thick ice making life hard for p-way who were out packing the junction between trains. And while they wait, DBS class 66, no. 66088, tears through Gilberdyke with 4D88 bound for Hull Docks with empty bio-mass wagons.
|On a miserable January morning, 66088 leads 4D88 passed Gilberdyke. P-way watch while they wait to get back to work packing the junction between trains.|
